Game Modes

What game modes are available?

What's the difference between TTE and OTT?

TTE uses a 3x3 board with 5 cards per player. OTT uses a 5x5 board with 15 cards per player, a 2-card sliding window, and a one-time discard mechanic. Same capture rules apply to both.

How does TOTT team play work?

In Team Omni Triad, you're paired with a teammate (2v2) on a 5x5 board. Teams share a combined score and can send private team-only messages to coordinate strategy.

What is Chinchirorin?

A Japanese dice game where two players roll three dice and compare results. Triples, straights, and pairs determine who wins.

What is Sphere Break?

A number puzzle game where you select coins from a 4x4 grid. Your selected coin values must sum to a multiple of a center target number. Score points by using as many border coins as possible and maintaining echo chains.

What are the mini-games?

Gameplay

How do I capture cards?

Place your card adjacent to an enemy card. If your card's edge value is higher than the enemy's opposing edge value, you capture it. The captured card changes to your color.

What does "Same" rule mean?

When your card's values match two or more adjacent cards' opposing values exactly, you capture all matching cards simultaneously.

What does "Plus" rule mean?

When the sum of touching values equals the same total on multiple sides, you capture those cards.

How do Elemental rules work?

Board spaces may have elements. Cards placed on matching elements get +1 to all values; cards on mismatching elements get -1.

What is Sudden Death?

If a game ends in a draw with Sudden Death enabled, the board cards are redistributed to their owners and a new round begins. This can repeat up to 3 times. Discard is disabled during Sudden Death rounds.

Why did my captured card flip back?

Cards can be re-captured throughout the match. Only the final state matters for scoring.

What's the gold flash on card values when captures happen?

When a card is captured, the two specific edge values that competed (your value vs the captured card's opposing value) briefly pulse with a gold glow. It makes "this 7 beat this 5" easy to follow at a glance — especially handy in OTT where the board is busier. Combo-cascade flips don't get the highlight (only the direct compare does).

What do the turn indicators show?

Whoever's turn it is gets a teal pulse around their avatar; everyone else's panel goes grayscale and dims. In TOTT, the active slot also subtly scales up. The intent is to make whose-turn-it-is impossible to miss across all game modes.

Multiplayer

How do I play with friends?

What is ELO rating?

ELO measures your competitive skill in each game mode. It increases when you win and decreases when you lose, with changes based on opponent ratings. Each game mode has its own separate ELO rank.

What are rank tiers?

Your ELO determines your tier, themed after Final Fantasy job classes: Freelancer (0-799), Squire (800-999), Knight (1000-1199), Dragoon (1200-1399), Paladin (1400-1599), Sage (1600-1799), Hero (1800-1999), Legend (2000-2199), Grand Master (2200+). New players start at 1000 ELO (Knight).

Can I practice without affecting my rating?

Yes! AI matches do not affect your ELO rating.

My opponent disconnected. What happens?

If a player disconnects during a multiplayer match, the remaining player wins by default.
