Leaderboards & Rankings

Triple Triad Extreme features a comprehensive ranking system that tracks player performance across all seven competitive game modes.

Rank Tiers

Your ELO rating determines your rank tier. Each tier has its own name and color, themed after Final Fantasy job classes:

Tier ELO Range Color
Freelancer 0 - 799 Grey
Squire 800 - 999 Lime
Knight 1000 - 1199 Cyan
Dragoon 1200 - 1399 Blue
Paladin 1400 - 1599 Purple
Sage 1600 - 1799 Amber
Hero 1800 - 1999 Red
Legend 2000 - 2199 Orange
Grand Master 2200+ Gold

New players start at 1000 ELO (Knight tier).

Per-Mode Rankings

Each game mode has its own separate ELO rating. Your TTE rank is completely independent from your OTT rank, Chinchirorin rank, etc. This means you can be a Grand Master in TTE but a Freelancer in Sphere Break.

Game Mode Rank Field
Triple Triad Extreme (TTE) TTE Rank
Omni Triple Triad (OTT) OTT Rank
Triple Triad Warfare (TTW) TTW Rank
Triple Triad Memory (TTM) Memory Rank
Team Omni Triad (TOTT) TOTT Rank
Chinchirorin (CHIN) CHIN Rank
Sphere Break (SB) SB Rank

How ELO Works

The ELO system rewards beating tougher opponents:

AI matches do not affect your ELO rating. Only multiplayer matches count.

Improving Your Rank

  1. Play multiplayer matches - AI games don't affect ELO
  2. Win consistently - ELO gains are based on win/loss ratio and opponent strength
  3. Challenge stronger players - Beating higher-rated opponents gives larger gains
  4. Focus on one mode - Specializing in a mode helps you climb faster
  5. Learn from losses - Each loss teaches you something about your weaknesses
