Slime Stack

A Puyo Puyo / Mean Bean Machine-inspired puzzle game where you stack colored slimes and clear chains against an AI opponent.

How to Play

  1. Open Slime Stack from the Mini-Games menu
  2. Pairs of colored slimes fall from the top of a 6-column board
  3. Move and rotate the falling pair to position them
  4. When 4 or more same-colored slimes connect (horizontally, vertically, or in groups), they pop
  5. Popping slimes cause remaining slimes to fall, potentially creating chain reactions
  6. Chain combos send gray garbage slimes to your opponent's board
  7. The game ends when slimes stack above the top of the board (column 3)

Controls

AI Difficulty

Three difficulty levels are available:

Difficulty Colors AI Behavior
Easy 4 colors 60% random moves, simpler boards
Normal 5 colors Best move + 20% noise, moderate challenge
Hard 5 colors Always picks the best move, ruthless chains

The AI evaluates all 24 possible placements (6 columns x 4 rotations) using heuristics like chain potential, board flatness, and adjacency.

Scoring & Rewards

Tips

  1. Build chains - Set up combos by stacking colors so that popping one group causes others to fall and connect
  2. Keep the board flat - A flat board gives you more room to maneuver
  3. Avoid column 3 - If slimes reach the top of column 3, you lose
  4. Watch the garbage meter - Incoming garbage appears as a meter; send chains to offset it
  5. Speed increases over time - The game gets faster, so build chains early
