Triple Triad Extreme has an in-game economy with multiple currencies and ways to earn and spend them.
Currencies

Earning Gold
Multiplayer Matches
Win multiplayer matches in any game mode to earn gold. The amount depends on the game mode and match result.
AI Matches
AI matches award gold based on difficulty and outcome:
- Rewards only apply when using your own cards (Pick from Collection or Random from My Cards)
- Practice mode (Random from All Cards) gives no rewards
- Win rewards: 65% chance of gold (10-18g), 35% chance of winning a card from the AI's hand
- Loss penalty: 5-10g deducted
Mini-Games
- Daily Blitz - Free daily spin for gold or crystals
- Bomb Sweep - Reveal tiles for gold/crystal prizes (risk vs reward)
- Materia Magic - Scratch-off lottery with tiered prizes
- Slime Stack - Puyo-style puzzle game vs AI (gold based on score, chains, and difficulty; no cooldown)
Leveling Up
Each level-up awards a gold bonus: level * (50 + random bonus), capped at 1,000g per level.
Passive Income (AP)
Earn 5 Activity Points every 5 minutes while actively online. AP converts to gold automatically at a 100:1 ratio.
Card Pack Store
Spend gold on random card packs containing cards of various rarities.

How Pack Pulls Work
- Cards are drawn with weighted rarity — common cards appear more often, rare cards less so
- Each pack has a guaranteed minimum number of rare cards
- Purchase history is tracked so you can see what you've bought
Accessing the Store
- Open the Card Store from the main menu
- Browse available packs
- Click Buy on the pack you want
- Your new cards are added to your collection
Gold Wager System
Wager gold on multiplayer match outcomes for high-stakes competitive play.

How Wagering Works
- Host creates game with a wager amount (0-5,000g)
- Guest sees wager in the game list before joining
- Both players' gold is held in escrow when the game starts
- Winner receives the full pool (both wagers combined)
- Draw returns wagers to both players
Wager UI
- Gold badge on game listings shows the wager amount
- Confirmation dialog before joining a wagered game
- Waiting room shows wager per player and total pool
- Match result screen shows gold won/lost
