Economy & Rewards
Triple Triad Extreme has an in-game economy with a few currencies and a lot of ways to earn them.
Currencies

Earning Gold
Multiplayer Matches
Win multiplayer matches in any game mode to earn gold. The amount depends on the game mode and match result.
AI Matches
AI matches award gold based on difficulty and outcome:
- Rewards only apply when using your own cards (Pick from Collection or Random from My Cards)
- Practice mode (Random from All Cards) gives no rewards
- Win rewards: a chance of gold or a chance of winning a card from the AI's hand
- Loss penalty: a small amount of gold deducted
Mini-Games
- Daily Blitz — Free daily spin for gold or crystals
- Bomb Sweep — Reveal tiles for gold/crystal prizes (risk vs reward)
- Materia Magic — Scratch-off lottery with tiered prizes
- Slime Stack — Puyo-style puzzle game vs AI; gold based on score, chains, and difficulty; no cooldown
Leveling Up
Each level-up awards a gold bonus that scales with your level.
Passive Income (AP)
Earn 5 Activity Points every 5 minutes while actively online. AP converts to gold automatically.
Card Pack Store
Spend gold on random card packs containing cards of various rarities.
How Pack Pulls Work
- Cards are drawn with weighted rarity — common cards appear more often, rare cards less so
- Each pack has a guaranteed minimum number of rare cards
- Purchase history is tracked so you can see what you've opened
Accessing the Store
- Open the Card Store from the main menu
- Browse available packs
- Choose the pack you want
- Your new cards are added to your collection
Cosmetic Shop
Visual customization items that change how your cards, board, and profile look. Cosmetics are purely visual and provide no gameplay advantage.
Cosmetic Categories
- Card Backs — Custom designs for the back of your cards
- Board Themes — Different visual themes for the game board
- Card Borders — Glowing or animated borders around your cards
- Profile Frames — Decorative frames for your profile page
- Chat Emotes — Special emotes for use in chat
- Victory Animations — Custom effects when you win a match
Rarity Tiers
Cosmetics come in four rarity levels: Common, Uncommon, Rare, and Legendary.
Browsing the Shop
- Open Cosmetic Shop from the Collection section of the main menu
- Browse by category using the tabs
- Click an item to see the detail
- Equip your new cosmetic from your inventory
Limited-Time Items
Some cosmetics are only available for a limited time. Check the shop regularly.
Gifting
You can send any cosmetic you own — or any card from your collection — to another player via Moogle Mail. See the Moogle Mail Guide for details on attachments and gift wrapping.
Tips
- Play daily — Daily Blitz gives free currency every 24 hours
- Stay active — AP conversion provides passive gold income while you're online
- Use practice mode to learn new game modes without risking gold on AI matches
- Open packs strategically — Check which cards you need before spending
- Check the Cosmetic Shop — New items are added regularly, including limited-time exclusives
